I broke them in a little in the weeks leading up to the trip and used them primarily drilling holes and snowmobiling across a lake, which involved a six-mile run. My hands stayed dry and warm, which was really important, and I was able to use my fingers instead of mittens, which was a big plus. The only minor issue I had was that it was a little harder to get my fingers into the glove when my hand was cold, but once the glove was on, I warmed up quickly.
If I had one suggestion, it would be for the gloves to have a slightly smaller fit, especially on the fingers, to allow for more dexterity. But overall, they performed exactly as I needed them to for the conditions.
